Our little guy, Abu, is a Shiba Inu. What's that you ask? He's a small (25 pounds) Japanese spitz. We like to take him everywhere. He's great in the car, though if you're on a long trip and want to take a nap in the back seat with him, he's a pillow hog.
"Do I look presidential?" Abu ponders in front of the Washington Monument in Washington, DC.
"Fetch! My favorite game!"
Abu loves to pose for the camera....
"Don't forget my close-up!"
Yoshi is 8-pounds of love. A tonkinese, he demands to be the center of attention and will complain LOUDLY when he's not. He thinks whenever I'm on the phone with an editor, he needs to circle my chair and "talk" in his "outside-voice".
"Let me help with that," he says as he sits on my computer keyboard. The cord to my jump-drive is a source of endless fascination.
Unlike Abu, Yoshi doesn't pose for the camera. I have to catch him unaware.

Lady Iona is the newest addition to our family. A Papillon, she's not quite 5-pounds. If you're feeling blue, she'll make you smile.
Iona's big car ride home.
